Holiday house on Korcula island

Ground floor apartment is renovated in 2016 and it is the newest part of the house. Size of the apartment is about 50m2 of inner space which is extended towards front teracce which is for the most of the day in very pleasant shadow.Apartment consists of one bedroom with it’s proper bathroom and independent entrance, one kitchen with living room and another bathroom. It can easily accommodate family or group of four.
House “Alegria” is composed of two floors where the upper (1st) floor is reserved for rental and it consists of 50m2 of interior space along with large backyard terrace and exterior space, providing such the coziness and full privacy for our guests inside the apartment and in open air. Upper floor is therefore separated from basement and is accessed via it’s own entrance, directly from parking right in front of the house. Parking lot is big enough to accommodate up to three vehicles.
Apartment has two separate bedrooms. One with twin bed, and second one with two separate beds. Large living room has a sofa that can be extended and make an additional bed for one or two persons. Blankets and towels are provided.
Kitchen is well equipped for a holiday living and is connected with small dining room. There is also direct exit to the backyard terrace which is very suitable for outside day lunches and/or evening dinners. Terrace can accommodate even a large group of people what proved to be very suitable for anniversaries or friendly gatherings. One part of the terrace is occupied by a stone made barbecue, where wood and charcoal are supplied regularly. There is one bathroom in the house with a shower and there is an outside shower on the terrace.
House is air conditioned, SAT/TV equipped.
House Alegria Lumbarda is built as a holiday house and it’s been in service for almost three decades now. For all that time only the first (upper floor) was rented to the tourists while the lower apartment was used only by property owner or person in charge.
Starting in Autumn 2015. basement floor went under refurbishment process and is getting ready for rental in Summer 2016.
In other words entire house can now be rented as a unit with two independent floors where each floor can accommodate a family of four or at least one or two additional people.
Lumbarda is a small picturesque village on the east cap of Korcula island. It counts apx 1200 inhabitants during the year while number of people more than doubles during the holiday season. Village is known, among all, by the oldest written document ever found in Croatia, psefizm of Lumbarda. 
The psefizm is a stone inscription from 4th century BC that brings us story about life in this unique region from the very ancient time when village was inhabited by ancient Greeks and Illyrians. Lumbarda is also well known as a village of fishermen and agriculturists dedicated to olive and wine production. Hearth of the village is a valley with vineyards, 
surrounded by several sandy beaches with “tons” of sun during most of the year. Despite it’s tourist character during summer months, Lumbarda still succeeds to preserve environment for quiet but still not boring holidays.
Apartment Alegria is a spacious apartment in a stand alone house, that provides all necessary comfort for families of 4 to 5 or group of friends. It consists of two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with 2 single beds), living room with large sofa that can be extended to additional bed, kitchen with exit on the terrace, bathroom, balcony with a sea view and of course private parking. Apartment is properly equipped with towels, blankets, kitchen utensil and all other things necessary for comfortable living on holidays. Among all you can count on air conditioning, SAT/TV and outside barbecue with charcoal and wood always provided.
